Unplanned Water Disruption For Parts Of Nadi And Lautoka

The interruption in water supply is due to the low water levels currently experienced at Nagado, Kashmir and Saru reservoir as a result of major burst on DN 600 raw water trunk main from Vaturu Dam to Nagado Water Treatment Plant (WTP) affecting the raw water demand at Nagado WTP.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) wishes to advise customers living in parts of Nadi and Lautoka area that they will be experiencing low pressure to intermittent supply from now until further notice.

Affected areas include:

Nadi Area

Nagado, Nadele, Holika.

Taci, Togomasi , Togo Lavusa, Solovi, Meiganyah.

Malolo, Navo, Tunalia, Transmitter Top, Nacovi , Sonaisali and Veiladan.

Nasau, Vutuvutu, Katigari, Mulomulo Top, Tabarak.

Malamala, Nawaicoba, Yako, Nabila, Nalovo, Uciwai, Fiji Marriot Momi Bay Resort.

Lautoka Area

Tawatawa, Vaivai, Vuda Back Road and Wairebetia.

Kermode and Kashmir area.

Our ground teams are conducting necessary repairs to restore supply and water carting trucks will service affected areas during this disruption period.

The Authority is kindly advising its customers residing in the areas above to use water wisely for their immediate needs during this temporary disruption period.
