The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) would like to advise our customers that repairs to the collapsed DN900 concrete wastewater pipeline is still ongoing.
Following the excavation efforts and inspections conducted yesterday that went well into last night, (Friday, 29 October 2021), we have determined that the majority of the sections of DN900 concrete wastewater pipe had collapsed and is no longer safe, and plans are in place to replace the entire section with approximately 24 metres of steel pipe.
