USP Council to Meet in the Cook Islands
Last month, the USP Staff Union and the Association of the University of the South Pacific Staff went on strike, accusing USP Vice-Chancellor and President Professor Pal Ahluwalia of inadequate leadership.

The University of the South Pacific (USP) will convene for its council meeting in the Cook Islands next Saturday.
The council meeting is expected to be held from November 23rd to 25th.
Responding to queries from this masthead on Friday, Mr Radrodro confirmed part of the agenda will include addressing staff issues, particularly their protest.

“We have the council meeting this month in the Cook Islands,” Mr Radrodro said.
“Part of the programme is on the issues that were raised which is the appointment of the visitor and appointment of PC.”
