The University of the South Pacific Council members, who were voted to recuse themselves from the last meeting, have not been invited to attend Friday’s meeting.
Tomorrow’s meeting is a continuation of the meeting held two weeks ago, which saw the recusal of Pro-Chancellor and chairman of the council, Winston Thompson, and a few other members. Mr Thompson said yesterday that he had been excluded from that meeting because it was still in recess.
Head of the Audit and Risk Committee, Mahmood Khan, said he had not received any invitation to attend Friday’s meeting.
