Vakadewabuka Leads MOBA
He was elected during the annual general meeting over the weekend. Mr Vakadewabuka succeeds Koli Korovulavula, who held the position since 2021.

Newly appointed Marist Old Boys Association president Neumi Vakadewabuka with Committee during the annual general meeting over the weekend.
The Marist Old Boys Association (MOBA) has elected Neumi Vakadewabuka as its new president.
He was elected during the annual general meeting over the weekend. Mr Vakadewabuka succeeds Koli Korovulavula, who held the position since 2021.
A retired Lieutenant-Colonel, Vakadewabuka has an extensive background in military and diplomatic service.

He most recently served as counsellor and military attaché at Fiji’s New York Mission.
Currently, he works as the security and climate change advisor for the German Development Agency GIZ.
The AGM saw one of its biggest turnouts in recent history, as several key positions were filled. Former senior civil servant and ex-director and registrar of Cooperatives, Faizal Khan, were appointed as the new secretary. Other newly elected members include Kenwyn Lord as treasurer, and committee members Geoffrey Smith, William Otterbech, and Lepani Ravoka.
Mr Vakadewabuka, comes from Burerua Village in Sawakasa, Tailevu. He outlined a leadership vision based on trust, integrity, and unity. The new committee will serve a three-year term, spanning from 2025 to 2028.
