Vale ni Bose to be Rebuilt Next Month
The redevelopment of the fire-damaged Vale Ni Bose of the Fijian Trust Fund building, formerly known as the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) complex will start next month.

The redevelopment of the fire-damaged Vale Ni Bose of the Fijian Trust Fund building, formerly known as the Great Council of Chiefs (GCC) complex will start next month.
This was confirmed by the Min-ister for iTaukei Affairs Ifereimi Vasu yesterday.
Mr Vasu said the cost of the con-struction would be about $4.5million.

The project is expected to be completed by October 2024.
The building was destroyed in an early morning fire on December 11, 2019.
It was determined and reported that a lit mosquito coil caused the fire.
The iTaukei Trust Fund had managed to recover $6m from the $6.5m insurance money payable which was made on November 11, 2020.
