The burnt Vale ni Bose or Great Council of Chiefs Complex at Nasese contributed to a decrease of $2.5million profit for the iTaukei Trust Fund Board from 2018 to 2019.

Presenting the review report of the fund’s 2019 Annual Report, the Standing Committee for Social Affairs chair Alitia Bainivalu, said the board made significant inroads in both organisational, direction and development during that period.

It achieved a gross revenue of $8.1million and a net from operations of about $1.4 million for 2019, compared to $3.9 million in 2018.
