Vanua O Kaba Accepts Ratu Epenisa Cakobau As Paramount Chief
He will be installed as Tui Kaba na Vunivalu this week.

The installation of Ratu Epenisa Cakobau as the Turaga na Tui Kaba, na Vunivalu will go ahead as scheduled this Friday, March 10.
A meeting of the Yavusa Naitodua of Kaba, Tailevu over the weekend endorsed his installation. The Yavusa Naitodua includes five mataqalis (clan) from two villages, Vatani and Dromuna village. They play a vital role in deciding the title holder.
Their collective decision over the weekend comes after earlier reservations aired by some members of the Yavusa early last week.
