A great leader does not set out to be a leader, they set out to make a difference.

Those were the remarks made by Vatiliai Korosaya, who was badged as Andrews Primary School head boy in Nadi on Tuesday. He is from Lakeba, Lau.

“A leader is one who knows the ways, goes the way, and shows the way,” he said.

Vatiliai is following the footsteps of his father, Taitusi Korosaya, who was a former head boy of Nasinu Secondary School.

“It requires a lot of commitment, patience, respect, loyalty, perseverance, hard work, and trust,” Vatiliai said.

“Always speak in such a way that others love to listen to you. You are challenged to lead by involvement and example and not in words only.”
