Vendors Help Clean Up Mess After Flooding

Market vendors and workers from the Ba Town Council conducted a thorough cleaning spree at the Ba Municipal Market yesterday.

This was after flood waters seeped through the main market area through to the bus station and other parts of the town.

The vendors were as early to the market as 7am and conducted the cleaning both inside and around the vicinity.

Ba Market vendor, Arveen Biu, said the vendors had to pack their produce and vacate the market on Tuesday at about midday when flood waters began to enter the market.
