A viral social media video showing men struggling to hoist a heavy generator onto a Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji-managed wharf has prompted a review amid growing public concern over staff conduct, customer service, and allegations of improper practices at its facilities.
The incident, post of social media last Wednesday, showed three men forced to lift a heavy portable generator up a concrete wharf ledge from a rocky shoreline after reportedly being denied gate access. Two of the men involved were aged 62 and 58.
