Former Digicel Premier League champions Sharma’s Investment Suva came from behind to beat Tailevu/ Naitasiri 3-2 in their clash at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.
Trailing 2-0, Suva fought back to hold Tailevu/Naitasiri before Marlon Tahioa scored the winning goal.
Speaking to SUNsports yesterday Suva’s technical adviser Tagi Vonolagi said they had to remain patient.

“We had to really fight for possession,” he said.
“Our experienced players stood tall and delivered the goods.
“Drudru was sent in for a job and he delivered. I reminded the boys to keep pressuring their defence and it paid off with Tamanisau fouling Drudru in the box.
“We really had to lift the tempo of the game in the second half and that gave us the win.”
Tailevu/Naitasiri’s goals came from Mohammed Naizal and Prashant Chand before Suva fought back with goals to Azariah Solomon, Drudru and Tahioa.
