Vosarogo Is New A-G In Recent Cabinet Reshuffle

Filimoni Vosarogo has assumed the role of Attorney-General (A-G) and Minister for Justice in the Coalition Government’s recent Cabinet reshuffle announcement. 

In a statement on Friday night, Government said the reshuffle was intended to enhance governance, improve policy coordination, and further improve service delivery to the people of Fiji. 

Siromi Turaga will now assume ministerial portfolio for Lands and Mineral Resources. 

In other reshuffles: 

Ifereimi Vasu will be reassigned to the ministerial portfolio of Education; Aseri Radrodro will be reassigned to the ministerial portfolio as Minister for iTaukei Affairs. 

The new ministerial positions come into effect next Tuesday, October 17. 

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka had also announced that Minister for Public Works, Transport and Meteorological Services, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, had assumed the role of Leader of Government in Parliament, a position held by the Minister for Women, Children and Social Protection, Lynda Tabuya. 

Government said these strategic changes reflected Government’s dedication to fulfilling its responsibilities to the people of Fiji and ensuring that the nation continued the path to progress and development.
