The Water Authority of Fiji has urged customers to store water in advance as Tropical Cyclone Vaianu continues to affect the country.

The authority says prolonged heavy rain and flooding may disrupt water production and supply, leading to low pressure or temporary outages in some areas.

Poor road conditions could also delay water cartage services to affected communities.

Customers are advised to store enough water for household use, boil drinking water as a precaution, and use water wisely during this period.

The authority’s National Call Centre remains open 24 hours a day. For assistance, customers can call 3346777, short code 5777, or toll-free 1508.

Enquiries can also be emailed to contact@waf.com.fj.

People are urged to stay prepared and follow official updates.
