Watch Children Closely, Parents, Guardians Urged
Police officers on standby at picnic spots to ensure safety

Parents and guardians are being urged to keep a close watch on their children.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Abdul Khan said Police had passed on this advice to all parents and guardians at popular picnic spots.
He said Police officers were deployed to picnic spots as a precautionary measure to ensure safety. The Police quick response team were also on standby to assist.

“Police will closely monitor the movement of people to the various popular picnic spots around the country during this festive season,” Mr Khan said.
“It is part of the organisation’s duty to ensure that members of the public are safe while enjoying the festive season.”
Mr Khan is also urging the public to secure their homes well before they go out and inform their nearest community post.
