Watch What You Flush Down The Toilet: Authority

Members of the public are advised to be mindful of what they flush down the toilet.

The advice comes after a technical team from the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) had to clear a blocked main and stop the overflow of sewage water from a chamber near the Royal Suva Yacht Club.

According to offices and people who work near the affected area, the smell was unbearable but the worrying thing was that the sewage was flowing out to sea as well.
