The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has approved a 5 per cent pay salary increase as of February 1, 2023.

This based on a Fiji-wide consultation with WAF employees that saw the WAF executive team travel to all major operational sites in late 2022.

It was followed by WAF entering into a ‘Master Collective Agreement’ with the Fiji Public Service Association (FPSA).

The agreement assures that both WAF and the FPSA commit to working with each other in good faith to maintain good industrial and harmonious relations.
