Water Authority Plans for More Backup Systems

More water backup systems will be built to cater for water cuts over the next six months.

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) is working on replacing old-age infrastructure in the Suva-Nausori area.

The additional water sources will cushion frus­tration by members of the public when there is water disruption.

WAF chief executive officer, Dr Amit Chanan, said some infrastructure was at the end of their life.
