“To ensure maximum customer service delivery, WAF has allocated a total amount of $8.5 million for this financial year out of an overall operations budget of $102 million.”
Mr Usamate said WAF was also aiming to uplift its customer services by opening these centres in areas where there is high population density.
“This centre is an example of that approach where WAF moves closer to pockets of high customer density, which is commercial, institutional and residential customers collectively.”
He added that customers had to go to the WAF national Office based at the Centrepoint, Nasinu, prior to this new development.
“The establishment of this customer service express center provides convenience and accessibility which in turn allows WAF to service its customers better.
“This is all part of the expanding and improving WAF’s services to the people of Fiji,” he said.
The centre is located at the Post Fiji building in Suva, behind Valuefone (Fiji) Ltd in Thomson Street, Suva.
