Samabula residents have now spent more than 24 hours with no water supply and for some the rain has saved them some trouble.
Water supply stopped at around 10am on Tuesday and had not returned until yesterday afternoon.
According to the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF), this was because of low production levels in the Tamavua reservoir.
