These are uncertain times and we have to maintain the peace, said acting Chief Magistrate Waleen George yesterday while presiding over the case of We Unite Fiji Party candidates Dr Jone Hawea and Abel Camillo.
The duo, each charged with a count of Malicious Act, are alleged to have posted a Facebook live video and sent an email respectively urging members of the public to congregate at the National Counting Centre and challenge the electoral process.
The alleged incidents happened on December 16 in Nadi.
