A flood alert remains in force for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to and downstream of Waimanu Station.

A trough of low pressure remains slow moving over Fiji.

Associated cloud and showers affects the group.

Expect some showers and isolated afternoon or evening thunderstorms with heavy falls expected over Vanua Levu, Taveuni, the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands, Lau and Lomaiviti group.

Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.

Localised heavy falls may lead to flash flooding of low lying areas.

Moderate east to southeast winds, fresh at times. Moderate to rough seas.
