Weather: Low Pressure Expected To Affect The Country Till Saturday
Periods of heavy rain and few thunderstorms over Yasawa and Mamanuca group, western half and interior of Viti Levu, Kadavu and nearby smaller islands. Rain becoming frequent and heavy from later tonight.

An active trough of low pressure with associated rain and showers approaches the group from west. It is expected to affect the country till Saturday.
Meanwhile, a high pressure system together with a low pressure system to the south of Fiji generates and directs heavy southerly swells towards the southern and western parts of the country.
