Held at the Aamira Restaurant, South Seas Club in Lautoka, the event brought joy and cheer to the hardworking media workers and their families.

West Media executive Pacolo Vavataga said it is one of the days anticipated to meet other colleagues not for work but to wind down and share highlights for the year.

“West Media through its coordinator Waisea Nasokia initiated its first annual family fun day concept last year, to also involve our children rather than the norm of the past years just media folks,” he said.

“It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to relax, bond, and share the festive spirit.”

Mr Vavataga also thanked the personnel from FMA, Tanoa Waterfront, Mali Pest Control, Aamira Restaurant, and South Seas Club for supporting West Media over the past years.

The Club allocated a shed with a sea view where everyone enjoyed barbecue and drinks.

They were joined by the management of the club, its board of trustee Jan Mohammed, and vice president Hafiz Rahman.

Mr Mohammed said the South Seas Club was honoured that West Media chose the club to host their annual family day.
