The People’s Alliance (PA), Fiji Labor Party (FLP) and Unity Fiji on Friday launched a petition against the Fijian Elections Office.

Reliability and credibility are on the agenda of the petition, PA leader, Sitiveni Rabuka said having have lost their confidence in FEO.

The petition aims to get signatures of individuals across the country.

“The coalition of political parties comprises, The National Federation Party under professor Biman Prasad, Unity Fiji Party and former governor of reserve bank and The People’s Alliance,” Mr Rabuka said.

“We are launching a nationwide petition for the reliability and credibility of the Fijian Elections Office electorate system.

“We told you yesterday (Thursday) afternoon we have a coalition of five parties no longer have faith in the integrity of FEO following the refusal to fully explain the so-called ‘Glitches’ in the App on Wednesday night.”

In this nature, Mr Rabuka reiterated these political parties no longer have reserve faith for the FEO role in this election.

“This is why leaders of the five political parties are taking the next step, we going to people of Fiji and ask them to lend their support for our call for a free and fair recount,”

“We believe, enough is enough.”
