Why Kumar Got 8 Police Escorts
To ensure his safety and security the team of Police officers were deployed to escort him to court.

When former high school teacher Kishore Kumar appeared in court on Friday, he was escorted by eight Police officers from the Special Response Unit.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro, confirmed this was because of the backlash and online threats directed at him.
She also stated that Mr Kumar’s case was of public interest and it had generated interest from the public.
