Opposition Leader Sitiveni Rabuka acknowledged the New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Winston Peters for his visit yesterday afternoon at the Opposition Chambers.
“We were very appreciative with the fact that he was allowed to call on me as the leader of the Opposition,” he said.
He said the meeting went well and some of the issues discussed included the 2018 General Elections Multinational Observer Group report, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) report, the democratic processes in Fiji and cooperation in education, defense and strengthening of Government institutions.
