Woman Arrested In Sigatoka, White Substance Found In Car

A 22-year-old woman is in police custody after she was arrested in Sigatoka and found with white substances believed to be illicit drugs.
A woman constable saw the suspect sitting inside a car near a supermarket in town and acting in a suspicious manner on Monday afternoon.
The suspect was escorted to the Sigatoka Police Station where a search was conducted.
Related stories
The search resulted in the discovery of small clear bags containing white substances and crystals believed to be methamphetamine and a bag containing pink tablets.
Also seized were smoking apparatus, a syringe and memory cards.
The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
