It is alleged that between April and August 2022, Bola dishonestly appropriated more than $46,000, property of Shop N Save Supermarket with the intention
of permanently depriving them.
All 91 counts were read in court, except for Charges 75 and 77, which were not referred to any Act.
Police prosecutor Walter Taito told the court that although Bola had other matters still under investigation with police, they were not objecting to her bail as
she was a first offender.
Repeat offender
Prosecutor Walter told the court Bola was a repeat offender who committed the same offense at her previous work place.
He said the stolen money could not be recovered.
He asked the court that Bola be bailed on two conditions.
They included providing cash bail and two sureties.
The court then ordered that Bola pay $2000 cash bail with two suitable sureties who are bounded by $2000 each should she fail to uphold the conditions.
She is to report at the Nabua Police Station every Friday between 6am and 6pm.
Although she does not own a passport, the court issued a stop departure order.
She is to remain in her fixed residence and never reoffend nor interfere with any State witness while on bail.
Bola told the court she will be able to pay the money in two weeks.
The matter has been adjourned to May 16 to check on her legal representation as well as the amendment to charges 75 and 77.
