Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre is concerned with the number of women fighting and exposing their hatred on social media.

FWCC counsellor advocate, Lavenia Tuitabu, during her live video on the FWCC social media page, asked: Who causes the fight and the hurt between women fighting against each other?

This is the result of the fight. While they are still in a relationship, the husband or the partner is involved with an-other woman, Ms Tuitabu said.

Then the women from both sides of the relationship fight against each other and end up revealing their hatred on social media.”

Ms Tuitabu said women, although bound to be hurt would protect their partner while exposing the other women.

“We see that during this drama, women set aside their male partners and attack each other with hurtful words,” she said.

“On the other hand, the man involved remains unaffected and indifferent to the trauma the two women are experiencing. He is manipulating both of them. When the women are fighting, we might ask who created this situation it was the man.

“It is painful to think about. Eventually, we end up posting pictures of these women, who are then attacked with hateful comments,” she added.
