Writ Returned, President Commends FEO Work

The Writ of the 2022 General Election has been returned to President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, this afternoon.

Returning the Writ was the chairperson of the Electoral Commission of Fiji, Mukesh Nand.

Ratu Wiliame was pleased to have received the return of the writ earlier than expected.

“I wish to acknowledge the hard work of everyone that has contributed to its successful return,” he said.

“I also commend the Supervisor of Election (SOE), Mohammed Saneem and his senior management team who have been at the forefront of the entire election process,” he said.
