A Tailevu North farmer is the latest road fatality after he was involved in a road accident along Lodoni Road yesterday morning.
Police said Temesia Manu, 27, lost control of the car he was driving when it approached Nananu Village, causing it to veer off the road and hit an electric post.
National Fire Authority officers rushed him to Korovou Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that investigations were ongoing.
Mr Manu was the second eldest of five siblings and had left behind his four-year-old son, and wife, who is nine months pregnant with their second child.
His cousin sister, Eseta Ramatau said on Sunday his family members were trying to come to terms with his death.
"As cousins, we are so close to each other. This morning (Sunday) when we heard about his death, we couldn't believe it," Ms Ramatau said.
"His dad and his brother went to identify his body and then knew that he was really gone.
"We just wish it was all a dream, but he is really gone.
"It hurts us because his son is only four years old, and his wife is just counting on days to give birth to their second child. It is really hard for his wife and the family to accept his death."
The national road death toll currently stands at 22 compared to 21 for the same period last year.
