Youngest of 45 Lawyers Admitted to the Bar

The dream of becoming a pilot did not eventuate for John Vaurasi.
Instead, Mr Vaurasi walked up to the podium to be sworn-in as lawyer and labelled it his best accomplishment.
He was the youngest of the 45 lawyers admitted to the bar on Friday at the Grand Pacific Hotel.

“My change of interest came when I decided to work part-time for Rabuku Lawyers. My dream to be a pilot changed, I developed an interest in law,” Mr Vaurasi said.
“Studying law wasn’t easy I struggled a lot but opting to work part time at a law firm made it a lot easier for me,” he said.
“Coping with a lot of theories and especially reading was a hassle and tassel of achieving the dream of becoming a lawyer.”
He said through the course of his studies, maintaining good relationship with his senior lawyers and lectures made things easier for him.
He also said there were times he wanted to give up.
He dedicated his achievement to his parents as they were always pushing him to achieve his goal.
