Members of the Nasekula and Abua Youth Clubs in Labasa plan to make good use of the income-generating agricultural tools donated to them as part of the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ Youth Farm Initiative assistance programme.
Minister Parveen Bala said this was part of their engagement in youth empowerment.
The tools are meant to aid the youths in their agricultural programmes.

During the handover, Nasekula Youth Club president, Kelepi Qomate, asked Mr Bala if drainage works could be conducted on their farms, for fear of flooding during heavy rain.
“We will liaise with the Ministry of Waterways team to help mitigate flooding issues in the village,” Mr Bala said.
