Youths Rally for Suva Seawall Cleanup

Members of ASEZ WAO, a youth ministry under the World Mission Society Church of God, conducted a cleanup at Suva seawall yesterday.
Suva branch youth leader, Daniel Peter Lockington, highlighted the importance of giving back to the environment.
"We are conducting this event to raise awareness of environmental issues such as climate change and global warming," he said.

"For this campaign, we focused on the seawall because it is the heart of Suva. This is the first thing people see when they arrive, so keeping it clean is crucial."
ASEZ WAO is an international volunteer group promoting youth involvement in sustainable development. Active in Fiji since 2017, the group aims to inspire more young people to join similar initiatives.
"With youth today heavily influenced by drugs and other harmful activities, this has become a serious global issue," he said.
"Our focus is on sharing the love of a mother, especially with struggling youths. If they experienced this love, they could overcome challenges and become part of a heavenly family."
The group is also raising awareness about the importance of blood donation as part of their ongoing campaigns.
A delegation from South Korea joined the cleanup effort and will remain in Fiji for the next two weeks.
