For Revy Bulinavesi, 21, the opening of Urata Lookout Café offered a new lease of opportunity for him.
The Year 13 dropout, who resides at Urata Village, Savusavu, said employment opportunities was scarce in the village, and the café development has given him a ray of hope.
He is part of the landowning unit (mataqali) in the village and along with cafe staff, Mr Bulinavesi’s roles included handling the cash register, taking orders and helping with catering of meals.
