Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Premila Kumar has confirmed that there will be no changes on the date that examination results for Year 13 are to be released.
This was after the ministry deferred the examination dates for Year 12 and Year 13 students to Monday, February 14.
The ministry in the beginning of this month announced that Year 13 exam results will be released on March 17.

Ms Kumar said the ministry would try their best to produce the results on time.
“We need those results for universities,” she said.
Ms Kumar said they are looking at increasing the number of markers so that the work is done very quickly.
“That’s our plan. At this stage we don’t see any delay in submitting the results to the universities.”
She also confirmed that there was about 97 per cent attendance for Year 13 who sat for their exam last week.
“So for the three per cent who did not sit for the exam, once they make the submission or application to the school or to the Ministry of Education for compassionate passes then we will consider that.
“But as for now we have not received any.”
