Unity Fiji begins 2026 campaign push in Vanua Levu

Unity Fiji Party (UFP) members led by their party leader Savenaca Narube are up in the North starting their general election campaign.
Mr Narube has been in the north since Monday and yesterday they were in Seaqaqa.
The Electoral Commission has confirmed that the campaign period for the upcoming General Election opened from Monday, May 25.

Mr Narube said he was getting positive responses from those who attended the organised meetings.
“We are conducting meetings and having talanoa sessions with people from different corners of the North, creating awareness about our party and what they can expect from us from the upcoming general election,” Mr Narube said.
“While meeting people on the street they stopped us and tell us what kind of changes they want from the next Government because they are worried about the growing cost of living,” he said.
He said the party was confident to continue its campaign this week to hear what people want to hear stating that their vote matters.
“The struggles of the Northern people are often forgotten and I want to emphasise again to everyone that Unity Fiji will not leave anyone behind,” he said.
“Unity Fiji has a special plan for Vanua Levu including Taveuni which is integrated into our Economic Transformation Programme (ETP).”
The team is in Bua today and would be in Savusavu tomorrow.
