Tomasi Seru Awaits NRL Contract At Silktails

The former Queen Victoria School headboy, who has been offered more than one good deal, is most likely to sign with Queensland Cowboys in November for the 2024 season.

Fiji Secondary Schools rugby league captain Tomasi Seru Junior flies out to Sydney on Sunday to join the Kaiviti Silk tails while waiting for his National Rugby League (NRL) signing later in the year.

The former Queen Victoria School headboy, who has been offered more than one good deal, is most likely to sign with Queensland Cowboys in November for the 2024 season.

Yesterday, the 18-year-old's father, Tomasi Seru Snr, confided with SUNsports that there was also an offer from Fiji Bati skipper Viliame Kikau's Canterbury Bulldogs club.

"He was approached by Kaiviti Silktails last year after the Fiji Secondary School rugby league competition (June) but had put things on hold to complete his secondary school education," Seru Senior said.
