WBA (World Boxing Association) Oceania lightweight champion Mikaele Ravalaca.

WBA (World Boxing Association) Oceania lightweight champion Mikaele Ravalaca says, he is ready to defend for his title defence against India’s Rohit Chauhan at Suva’s Vodafone Arena on July 25.

The title fight is the main bout of the Kings Boxing Promotion and Ravalaca has called on Chauhan to bring his best to the ring.

“I’m ready for this battle and I hope Rohit Chauhan comes prepared and brings his A-game,” he said of their 10-round fight.

Ravalaca also urged boxing fans to turn up in big numbers to support professional boxing in the country.

“To all boxing fans and also to my family, I’ll see you on July 25. The countdown is on,” he said.

The supporting undercards will feature the Fiji super middleweight title fight between champion Isikeli ‘Bullet’ Senidoko against challenger Robin Hazleman of Nadi.

Junior Binnu Singh will also defend his WBA Oceania super bantamweight title against India’s Harjot Singh.

The heavyweight division will also see veteran Joseph Kwadjo taking on Kimo Vakalalabure in an eight-round contest, while Fiji heavyweight champion Semi Dauloloma faces Sainivalati Ratu in a contest fight.
