“I fight to make money for my children,” Roberts said.

“I’m looking forward to this fight. I’m working hard and will put on a good show in Fiji.

“I want to make money for my kids. I’m here for a win. Come and watch, we will put on a good show.”

Roberts said he is a 10-round specialist and it would not be a problem for him.

“I have been able to have 10- round fights and he (Luvelolo) can’t stop me. So, it is going to be a world of war. I am looking forward to finishing him (Luvelolo).”

In the main undercard Fiji cruiserweight champion Alivereti Kauyaca defends the title against journeyman Savenaca Naliva of Ba.

Kauyaca said he has prepared well and calls on his supporters from Ba to come out in big numbers.

When approached Naliva said he would not take this fight lightly.

In the lightweight championship fight, Ronald Naidu will take Kaliova Tahikia.

Women boxing

Meanwhile, Anaseini Dakua is urging women to take up boxing.

The 25-year-old from Bukuya, Ba, will face Unaisi Nata.

Dakua told SUNsports that she has being involved with this sport since 2019.

“I was single at that time but there were not many women boxers,” she said.

Dakua said she stopped boxing for a while after she got married and had children.

“I was blessed to have a husband who supported my love for boxing.

“He encouraged me to get back into the ring. It was a bit challenging at first for being a mother.”

“Boxing is not about hating each other.

“It is about showing your strength and the abilities that we have.

“Boxing is an art,” she added.

Dakua’s opponent Nata said she would do her talking in the ring.
