The Fiji Gujarati Sports Association (FGSA) will pay homeage to the girmitiyas during their three-day football tournament at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori. The tournament kicks-off today and will conclude on Sunday.
This was the view of FGSA assistant secretary Nishant Kumar during an interview with SUNsports yesterday.
“Girmit day is special, especially to our community as they came in so we could come in,” he said.
