The unity and dedication within the Global Care Suva team is enough to ensure victory over Nadi in round 10 of the Extra Premier League competition at Prince Charles Park today.

This was the view of Suva football president Nitin Singh’s interview with SUNsports yesterday.

“It’ll be a tough match for us and it’s an away game as well,” Singh said.

“Our biggest strength is unity, and the boys are trying their best to win their games for Suva and the sponsors.”

Suva is looking to get a win to bounce back from their 4 – 1 loss to Nadroga in round nine last week.

“There’s a lot of improvement needed in the team as we’ve lost crucial games against Nasinu and Nadroga,” he said.

“No teams can be taken lightly in this competition, and our coaches are working on improving on these last two games we played.”

Singh added that a win against Nadi will be crucial to their progress in the EPL points standings.

Suva is in fifth place with 14 points and Labasa tops the standings with 18 points.

In second place is Ba with 17 points while Rewa and Lautoka share 16 points in the third and fourth place respectively.

Singh said they expect a tough encounter from Nadi at their home ground.

“To all the Suva fans, please do have faith in the team,” he said.

“They will try to deliver a win against Nadi.”
