Buliruarua extends stay at Perpignan

Former Flying Fijian centre Eneriko Buliruarua has committed his future to French Top 14 side Perpignan, extending his contract until 2028 after an impressive stint with the club

Perpignan are finalising their squad for next season with the contract extension of Eneriko Buliruarua until 2028.

Former Flying Fijian centre Eneriko Buliruarua has extended his stay with Top 14 club Perpignan. The club announced on Monday that the Nakarabo, Vaturova, Cakaudrove native will stay until 2028.

The 28-year-old Farrived in Perpignan last season. He has played 31 matches, including 20 as a starter, and scored six tries.

Buliruarua scored the decisive try against Clermont in USAP’s first Top 14 victory of the season (26-20, Round 12).

The former Labasa College student came through the Toulon academy and then played for Brive, La Rochelle, and Bayonne.

He has played 96 Top 14 matches so far since 2017.

He debuted for the Flying Fijians in July 2021 during their Test match against the All Blacks in New Zealand.
