Singh to stay on as FNRL chairman
Singh said as per regulation the FNRL would be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 21 days time.

Rajesh Singh is officially confirmed the Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) chairman.
This was after a high powered meeting in Suva yesterday, which was called by the Fiji National Sports Commission with the backing of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Also, present at the meeting in Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports Aliki Bia.
Speaking to SUNsports, Singh said it’s time to bury the past and for everyone to work together for the progress of the sport.
“The focus now is to develop the game and also work towards the Rugby League World Cup,” he said.
Also appointed as deputy chairman is former Fiji Bati forward Etika Rokobuli. Their terms will expire in 2027.
Singh said as per regulation the FNRL would be holding their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in 21 days time.
“We’re so grateful to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Sports Commission for stepping in to resolve the matter.”
When contacted Fiji National Sports Commission executive chairman Peter Mazey said the FNRL meeting was a successful one.
“The board has made their decision; and they are pleased with it,” he said.
Mazey added the date for the AGM would be disclosed at a later date.
