Army Bears are aiming to extend their unbeaten run to the Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup Eastern Zone competition when they take on Nabua Broncos at Bidesi Park tomorrow.
Head coach and former Fiji Bati representative Sevanaia Koroi told SUNsports yesterday, his side would not underestimate one of Fiji’s pioneer rugby league clubs.
“We respect Nabua Broncos because they are one of the pioneer clubs in Fiji rugby league. We have won our first two matches and want to maintain that momentum, but we know they will be ready for us,” Koroi said.

Despite the team’s unbeaten start, Koroi said there was still room for improvement.
“We need to improve our communication, especially during open play and when calling for the ball. Those are areas we have been working on this week.”
Koroi said preparations had been progressing well but stressed that discipline and commitment at training would be crucial to maintaining their winning run.
“Our goal is to win all our pool matches, but that starts at training. I have reminded the players that if we want to win on game day, we must first win at training through hard work, discipline and the right attitude.”
He also called on Army Bears supporters to turn out in numbers.
“We encourage our supporters, families and friends to come to Bidesi Park and get behind the boys on Saturday.”
The match kicks off at 2pm.
