Senirusi Seruvakula is now the interim Flying Fijians head coach.
This was confirmed this afternoon by Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer Koli Sewabu.
This followed a short statement by FRU indicating they have parted ways with Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne.
“Fiji Rugby Union and Fiji Water Flying Fijians head coach Mick Byrne have mutually agreed to part ways, effective immediately,” stated a FRU statement posted on their Facebook.

“We thank Mick for his dedication, passion, and contribution to Fijian rugby over the past five years — his impact on the Flying Fijians and Drua has helped lay a strong foundation for the future.”
More details to come.

Further updates are expected from the union.
