Defending Sports World Suva Kaji Rugby under 13 champs Holy Trinity Anglican School are aiming to bounce back despite their loss 10 – 3 to Samabula Primary School last Saturday at St Marcellin Primary School grounds, Vatuwaqa, Suva.
Head coach Jone Batirerega told SUNsports, despite going down to Samabula, they managed to come back with a point on the board.
“To be honest, the boys performed really well. They proceeded what they were taught back in the training ground. But some of the areas, we will be going back to the blackboard and make it right up to be a good performance,” Batirerega said.

He said, they would need to regroup so they can improve on their performance from last Saturday.
“The key areas of improvement for the team is the connection from the forwards to the backline, which is a lack of communication, which caused our down fall,” he said.
However, despite all the odds, they are aiming to defend their title this year.
“Our main goal for this year is to defend again. We will be going back to the drawing board and look at our errors so that we can improve on it,” Batirerega said.
He has also encouraged their fans and supporters to come in numbers to support their team.
“I would like to invite all our supporters, families and friends. The team needs your support and do come in numbers to support the boys,” he said.
