Devo Babas and the Kasabias Sinukakala Amazons are the champions of the men’s and women’s division, respectively at the 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

Babas defeated Army Green, 12-10, while Sinukakala beat Navy, 19-12.

Devo Babas successfully defended their title and claimed $12,000 prize money. Army Green settled for $6,000 as runners-up.

Devo Babas Etuate Qalibau was awarded the best player award for the men while Sinukakala’s Eseta Vunitabua won the best player award for the women.

Both players received a cheque of $700 each as their prize money.

Loloma Heights took home the U21 grade title after a hard fought match against Devo Young Babas.

Heni Ivi took home the Pacific Energy Under 18 grade; they beat St Peter’s Namosi, 19-5, while the U18 girls diving was won by St John Lomary.
