Dudley u15 eyes upset win

The gutsy Dudley High School Under-15 rugby team has set its sights on today’s Eastern Zone Deans quarter-final against Nasinu Secondary School at the Veiuto Primary School grounds.

Head coach Sakiusa Koroi told SUNsports yesterday the team was ready to face one of the competition’s traditional powerhouses.

“Our preparations have gone well physically, psychologically and spiritually,” Koroi said.

He said the team was looking forward to the quarter-final but still had areas to improve.

“Our focus now is on our defensive structure and discipline,” he said.

Koroi said his players were working hard to sharpen those aspects of their game before taking on Nasinu.

He acknowledged Nasinu’s strength and said Dudley High would need to make the most of every opportunity.

“We respect Nasinu because they are one of the giants in school rugby. We are treating this match like a final,” he said.

“Please come and support our young gladiators from Turaki.”
